Quality control of wastewater during the water treatment process is a set of activities to increase the quality of the water that it is safe for all consumption in a sustainable method. In another word, quality control method provides high quality/standard drinking water for consumers. High-quality water is free of diseases and chemical contaminants, which are causing consumer’s health. The biggest factor in ensuring a high-quality control is having a stringent QAQC management system. Various processes and procedures are to be included in the QAQC management system including a testing program to ensure that treatment processes are being effective and that no diseases and chemical contaminants are present in the treated water. Other items in a QAQC management system include maintenance programs, risk assessments of potential hazards, and a mitigation plan for these hazards. Quality control in wastewater treatment is a complex process with the QAQC management system being the most important item.
